Buying and Selling on Airentalk™ is easy, so get started.
Buy something on Airentalk Market
If you want to buy something on the Market, you can send a message to the seller or use the buy now button.
1.Click on Market in the left menu.
2.Click an item you want to buy.
3.You can message the seller by clicking the Contact Seller button or buy the product directly using the Buy Now button.
To see items you've purchased, click Market, then Purchased. You can also download your invoice for purchases.
Find items to buy on Airentalk Market
To find items on Market, you can:
• Search for something specific.
• Browse by category.
• Filter your results.
• Change the location of the items you're looking for.
Search By Category
If you don’t know exactly what you’re looking for, you can use categories to look through different groups of items from our list.
To browse categories:

Search By Location & Distance
Searching by location and distance lets you see items that are for sale near you.
To edit the location or distance:
1. From your Feed, click Market in the left menu.
2. Below Filters, find the location distance.
3. Use the slider to set the preferred distance you are willing to travel from the location.
4. Confirm by clicking the Nearby Listings button.
Search By Filter
Filters are a list of words related to Market listings that you can choose from to see matching items.
To add filters to categories:
2. Locate Categories and select a category.
3. You can edit the category you're browsing with the filters (example: Price).
Keep in mind the difference between filtering and sorting your results on Market:
• Filtering allows you to refine your results (example: Category).
• Sorting allows you to organize your results.
Buying on Market
If you see something you think is a scam, you should stop communicating with the buyer or seller and report the suspected scam to Airentalk.
When Buying on Airentalk Market
• Double-check deals that seem too good to be true. Scammers may try to use underpriced items to lure buyers into a scam.
• Do not send deposits for high value items (apartments, cars, etc.) without confirming that they’re real first. When possible, try to confirm the existence and ownership (example: a pink slip for a car) of the item(s) in person or over a video chat before sending payments.
• Always verify the tracking numbers that you see on Market on the shipping company’s website, and make sure that the delivery address and shipping information is correct.
• Review the seller’s profile to learn more about the seller. On their profile, you can see ratings and reviews from other buyers, friends you may have in common, view their other listings, and review their Market activity.
• Eligible purchases made with checkout on Airentalk are covered by Purchase Protection. Items exchanged in-person using cash or other person-to-person payment methods are not eligible.
• When buying in person, before completing the transaction, be sure to inspect the items closely to make sure that they:
• Are in the expected condition (example: new, used, etc).
• Work as expected.

Sell something on Airentalk Market
When you sell something on Market, you create a public listing that can be seen by anyone on Market and in Feed, search and other places on or off Airentalk. All listings on Market and buy and sell groups must follow our Commerce Policies.
1.Click on Market in the left menu.
2.Click Create and then the item sale form will appear.
3.Enter the info about your item including the appropriate category and item status.
4.Click Add photos icon to upload a photo of your item from your computer.
5.Click Publish to post your Market listing. Make sure you've entered the information that's required.
We charge a selling fee of 5% for each item purchased with shipping and checkout. We have this fee to help cover the cost of payments processing, customer support, and Purchase Protection. Keep in mind that: The selling fee is deducted from any payments you receive.
How Purchase Protection works on Airentalk
Purchase protection only works when paying through the Airentalk platform using the PayPal or Stripe payment gateway.
When paying by cash on delivery or other methods outside of our platform, users are not subject to any Purchase Protection and purchase is at their own risk.
Purchase Protection may not currently be available in your country. Learn more in Terms or on payment gateway websites.
How to edit your Airentalk Market listing
Simply go to the My Products section in the Market, where you click on the required product. Then you click on the Edit Product button, where you can make the desired changes. Once you're done, click the Save button.
Mark item as sold on Airentalk Market
You can mark your listing on Market as sold or simply delete it.
Mark as sold
You can mark a listing as sold by going to your profile where you find your item and clicking the icon in the top right corner of your item. Then select Mark as sold in the menu.
Delete it
Go to the Market in the left menu, click on My Products and use the trash icon to delete the item from the market.
Note that deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Tips for Sellers
Here are some tips for selling items on Market:
• Dropping off and picking up items helps you avoid interacting with people directly.
• Use a photo that clearly shows the item and its condition. If possible, include multiple, original photos of the item rather than a photo from a company website.
• Add a detailed description of the item and its condition. Be sure to describe any stains or tears.
• Make sure you both agree on the price of the item and the exact location of your local pickup.
• Have the buyer look over the item and make sure it's what they want before you accept payment.
Ways to sell on Airentalk
You can sell something on Airentalk through Market, buy and sell groups or on a Page. You may also be able to offer shipping depending on where you live.

Sell something in a buy and sell group
You must be an adult, based on the laws in your country, in order to buy, sell or see listings in an Airentalk buy and sell group (example: at least 18 years old in the United States or at least 20 years old in Thailand). If you’re not an adult, you can still participate in the group, outside of listings.
You can only sell things in groups that have the buy and sell feature added. You must be an admin of the group to add the buy and sell group feature.

Is Airentalk responsible for things sold in a group or on Market?
• Items sold on Airentalk must follow our Commerce Policies.
• Items purchased with checkout with shipping may be covered with Purchase Protection.
• Airentalk may limit the frequency of listings to prevent misuse of buy and sell groups or Market.
• Select rights owners may be able to search buy and sell group posts to prevent the misuse of intellectual property on Airentalk.
